To apply a custom badge to an automation first you will have to upload or create a badge and then apply the badge to the automation. You can follow these steps:

Upload a Badge

  1. Click on Store on the left-hand panel of your screen from the home page and then click on > Product Badges

  2. Under All, on the left side of the screen, click on Make Badge

  3. Click on Upload a Badge.

The format that works best- PNG with a transparent background works best,
    Aspect Ratio- 1x1 (1220 x 1220 px ) canvas size
    Size- 1 MB

  4. Once uploaded, you can access the badge under My badges and use it for your products

Create a Badge

  1. Navigate to Product badges> Make Badge

Under All, on the left side of the screen, click on Make Badge

  2. From the left side of the screen choose the Style of the badge

  3. From the right side of the screen, you can edit the Text, Font Style, Font Color, Font Size, and Background Color. Note: You can make 10 Badges for free.

  4. Click on Preview Badge on a sample product to preview the badge

  5. Click on Create Badge on the bottom right corner of the screen

  6. Click on View It to view your custom badge. Now you can view the badge under All and apply it to the products of your choice.

Apply the Badge to the Automation

  1. If you want to apply the badge to an active automation, you will have to Stop the automation and then restart it by following the steps.

  2. Go to Apps from the Home Page as seen on the left-hand panel to the respective automation.

Please note that a custom badge can't be applied to any automation which uses a dynamic badge.
Dynamic badges are badges that change based on the value automatically. For example, the on-sale automation uses dynamic discount percentages shown on the products so this is an instance where you can't replace it with a custom badge.

  3. Click on Change Badge under the Design section as seen on the left-hand panel of the screen

  4. Navigate to Custom, here you can find the custom badge

  5. Apply it to the Automation. Once everything is set, click on Activate on the bottom right corner of the screen to activate the automation
