Here's a step-by-step guide to setting up the Abandoned Cart Widget.


Note

  • Once the Abandoned Cart widget is activated in your store, the widget is first visible to your customers depending on the "First Reminder" set up by you.

  • If the customer closes the Abandoned Cart widget pop-up, the widget will re-appear on the customer's screen according to the "Subsequent Reminder" set up by you, as a nudge to complete their purchase.

  1. Click on "Apps" on the home page of the ModeMagic app


  2. Select the "Abandoned Cart" widget


  3. Select the template from the left side of the screen under "Templates"



  4. Under "Settings"-

    1. Set up the discount you'd like to offer, you can set up "Fixed" or "Variable" discounts.

    2. Set up the Minimum Cart Value for the cart to be eligible for the discount

    3. Set up the Maximum Cart Value beyond which the cart will not be eligible for discount

    4. Set up the maximum discount that the customer can get using Cap your Discount


      Note: The customer is directly led to the checkout page when they click on the “Checkout Now” CTA on the widget and the discount is auto-applied.



  5. Click on "Design" followed by "Styles" and select each layer from the preview on the screen to make corresponding changes.



  6. From the top of the screen, you can customise and view how the widget will be visible on different screen sizes.



  7. From the right side of the screen, select when the widget should appear on the customer's screen. Choose the "First Reminder" and "Subsequent Reminder" by clicking on the respective drop-downs.



  8. From the right side of the screen, choose the store pages in which you want the Abandoned Cart to be visible by selecting the "Display Settings" drop-down.




    a) Select "All products" if you want the Abandoned Cart to be visible on all product pages


    b) Select "All collections" if you want the Abandoned Cart to be visible on all collection pages


    c) Select "Home Page" if you want the Abandoned Cart to be visible on the home page


    d) Select "Custom" & then add the regex in the "Add Regex" box. If you would like to add the widget in selective product pages only, you can add the regex as shown below-

    For eg: If the regex has to be added for the product "oakley-factory-winter-trigger-mens-mitt-2015", then you must add it in the "Add Regex" box as follows:

    .*oakley-factory-winter-trigger-mens-mitt-2015*





  9. Under the "Display Settings" drop-down, the floating position is selected



  10. Click on "Add to Store" in the bottom right corner of the screen to apply the widget to your store.



  11. Once the widget is active, it will be visible under "Active". You can pause an active widget by clicking on "Pause" or remove the widget by clicking on "Remove".
