How can I set up the On Sale Automation?

You can set up automatic badges which get updated basis the discount rules set on your store using the On Sale Automation. This automation uses this information to automatically update the dynamic badges with the percentage of discount for each product.

The On Sale Automation works in 2 ways:

  • Compare-at price: Discount rules are set at a product level. Compare at price will check for the price and offer price for the products and apply the badge accordingly.

    Note: The value of Compare at Price should be greater than the value of the Price of the product.

  • Price rules: Discount rules are set at a collection or store level. Price Rules are set from the relevant e-commerce platform's Admin Panel, those rules can be set on the Category level, Collection level, or even on the complete store.

The prerequisites to setting up the On-Sale Automation are as follows:

  • Make sure that you have filled in the Compare-at price / Price Rules in the the relevant e-commerce platform's Admin Panel.

  • Select a Dynamic Badge for the On-Sale Automation

To activate the On Sale Automation, do the following:

1. On the home page click on Sales to your left and choose the On Sale option on the right.

2. Here you can select from any one of 2 rules

3. Click on the Design tab, to choose Change badge to find ModeMagic's collection of dynamic badges.

4. Once done go ahead and click on Activate On Sale Badge on the bottom right corner of the screen.
