If you are on the Free Plan the active automations will get updated automatically every 24 hours.

Whereas if you are on one of the Paid Plans, the automations will get updated automatically every 30 minutes.
​
For eg: If the Sold Out automation is active on your store, the sold out products will get updated automatically with the badge every 30 mins if you are on one of the Paid Plans else the badges will get updated every 24 hours.
